A letter from Nov 21st, 2021

Dear 22-year-old Inès, First, I hope with all of my heart that you are still here and that you are reading this letter from your nice and cosy Parisian flat. I hope you sang 22 (Taylor's version) to celebrate your 22nd birthday. I just got accepted into two business schools, which are in the top business school in France. It was the scariest experience of my life. I hope you have set some boundaries with our parents. They can be overprotective sometimes. I know that right now they don't want me to live in a flat all by myself. They want me to live with an old person... I hope you told them that it wouldn't be their money going into the rent, that you told them that it was your money, the one you worked hard for. You deserve everything good that is coming your way, and I truly hope that you are enjoying your life. I will keep thinking about you, and praying that we will get out of this hell. I love you, Your 18-year-old self.
