A letter from Nov 17th, 2021

First things first, happy birthday! It should be your well anticipated 18th birthday, the pivotal point that defines your identity of a minor or an adult. For I greatly hope that the goals I’ve established have not fallen, that the future I so desired remained intact. The pursuit of education, the extensively high grades, and the goal of being valedictorian. But if such a solace has not be attained, what can I do now? Will I berate you over a letter, carried across time of variable effect? No, but hopefully, you’ll take this as to some degree of significance. To abstain from the bad things I so greatly rebuked. Was there a salvation that was reached? Was there an atrocity that changed your life completely? What can I do now, only serve as a wake-up call for the future.
