A letter from Aug 7th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I hope everything has gone well for you. I'm excited to look back and see what I've accomplished over these 4 years. Have you gotten your bachelor yet? Is it still in Earth System Sciences? Am I moving on to graduate school? Am I going into the workforce? Am I enjoying what I do? To look back on: I am a first year college student. I will be studying Earth System Sciences at UCI starting this fall. I just registered for my classes for fall quarter and I am excited but nervous. Will I be able to handle my workload? How will I do taking both chem and calc at the same time? My favorite things right now is playing valorant (finally am getting lily into playing it and she's not too shabby lol) and playing Minecraft (more specifically bedwars - I'm level 59 right now and I'm still getting better). Miss Goody has my whole heart and all of our cats (Goody, Alaska, Pepper, Kansas, and Chance) are doing well! The boys love to annoy each other but they're loving each other. Did I end up going back to work at camp? I know I had a lot of up and downs this summer but it is definitely a really rewarding job. The kids are fun from a distance and I am so glad that I am not a counselor. That would've been really stressful. Right now my favorite songs are Die Young - Kesha, Shut up & Kiss Me - Reece Mastin, Heat Waves - Glass Animals, I can't handle change - Roar, King of the World - Young Rising Sons, Never Forget You - Noisettes. What were your favorite memories from these past 4 years? I'm proud of you for making it this far. Keep it up, you got this <3
