A letter from Jun 1st, 2021

Dear Future Me, How did you do? Did you do good? Right now my intentions are to just try to live a stress-free life. It's not going great right now so I hope it's going to be better when I'm you're age. Maybe I should ask you how are you instead. You better have gotten good grades and pulled yourself up by now. If you didn't umm, sorry. Or should you be sorry for me? I don't know, anyways, what are your intentions now? Have they changed or do you still want to be an engineer? What college are you going to? I think one of the more important questions I should ask is how is your friend group going. I really need to start being more social so I wonder if I finally did. Please just tell me you are happy. My life right now is okay. I'm still slacking in this semester and I've been playing a lot of Valorant and watching a lot of TikTok. Hopefully, that won't last long. Are you focusing on sports, content creation, or academics because I'm torn between what I should be doing? Ok, I'm now typing this late July way after 8th grade ended. That should tell you something. Ok, I found the rubric in an archived google classroom. Anyways, I'm currently doing the shooting camp for basketball. I hope you don't get sensitive if you didn't, but did you make the basketball team? If so, are you on the Varsity team? Right now I don't know the coach too well and I want to play tennis in high school but I don't know if I know the rules well enough. My whole family is still really close together and I pray to god that we still are when you are reading this. Do you still pray to god or did you lose your faith? I truly hope that there is a god but I understand if you don't believe in him anymore. I trust that you made the right decision and if you haven't yet, we will figure it out. I've been hopping between friend groups this summer. A lot of friends during school have been away and the "homies" aren't maturing as fast as I am sadly, so I hope they do. I've been hanging out with new friends like Tyler McReynold's friends. I hope that my bad people skills, anxiety, and inattentiveness will go away by the time you read this. I am so sorry if they didn't go away. I still love cars, building, and creating, so I hope I find a possible career path with those or at least one that I will be happy with. What car do you have and have you modded it at all? Please tell me it's a Honda. I hope you can get in University of Michigan but I have a feeling we belong at Michigan State University. Let's hope that I did at least that well. What music are you into? The same stuff like Kendrick, Tyler, and Kanye? Or have you totally switched genres like Beth. And finally, who is your significant other? I know you have one because if I'm this down bad right now I wonder what you have done. Anyways, how long have you been with them. How many have you had? And lastly, are you happy? Have a good one future me! This **** was prolly so cringe.
