Dear Future Me,
I'm you and sending this from 2021. Exactly 4 years later, you will receive this letter. By that time, you will have graduated and probably worked for 2 years.
Did you graduate with more than a 3.6 GPA? Did you get the 7.0 IELTS? Did you found the right career for you? Did you ask Huyen Anh out? How is she now? Man, I like her so much. I want her and there are so many other things I look forward to achieving. I hope you got them all, although there must be a lot of difficulties, challenges, and bad luck comes along. An important question, did you try your best?
Right now, I can't say that I feel proud of myself. I failed to follow my plan many times. My GPA seems almost impossible to rise to 3.6 milestones. My English didn't get better after two years in college. I have no idea what the right career path for me. I don't have the courage to talk to the one l like. There are so many good guys out there and I can't even imagine I would be one of them. There are so many things to do and little time to spend. Where will fate lead me to? Will we ever reach our desired destination?
How are you today, I wonder? Do you feel good about yourself or still feel insufficient as I always feel. What do you do today? Work all day and alone in your apartment the rest of the day? Hey man, 4 years is a long period and you must have been through a lot. Today you might think that your life is a disaster, that fate determined that you are an unhappy person for the rest of your life. I'm telling you that you are doing good. well done. Chin up, chest out, and just keep moving forward. An important message, try your best from now on.
I hope fate favors us. I hope you are so much better than me and I hope you have not given up yet.
Cheers! For our glorious adventure.
One more round,
Tam
