A letter from Jul 10th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Schools over, and youre probably leaving everything behind and starting over and applying to every university u can. but all I hope is that youre happy, like really happy. U have someone that u share all your highs and lows with, and if not atleast u have yourself. I hope you’re proud of yourself. You’ve come a long way and with all the obstacles and mess that you’ve seen over the years I’m proud of you for making it here. today is his bday and I hope you’re still friends with him. there was once a time where u considered him the best thing that ever happened to u. He maybe a little stubborn and sometimes hard to love, and his temper. ******* does hit guys hard. But no matter what you’ll always know u loved him, and u will always no matter how much u deny it. And maybe today u text him? I hope ur still in contact, but if not just do it. Now that we’re done with that talk, i remember u sitting by the window and making conversation in your head. No matter how many people threw crap toward u, no matter how many fights you’ve been in, you’ve made it, and please if you’ve not moved out by now, please do now. Go out there, it’s a big world and you need to explore not only the worlds and the amazing destination but your capabilities and the inner wild in you. I know you’ve been waiting for this day, for a long long time. Text your fav teacher from school thank her right now. Talk to your ninth grade BFF no matter how bad you fought. Most of all I just want you to be happy, you deserve beyond that. Take small steps and they’ll lead u places, you’ve only imagined in your dreams. It’s times to execute them. I love you so much.
