Peaceful right?

Dear Future emma, Yesterday, June 3, 2021 (thursday) I graduated high school. it was interesting. it was def not normal bc we all sat in pods with out families. I'm glad that we were able to have a graduation in person considering that the class of 2020 didnt get anything. i took pics w family and friends; it was a super fun, but long event. there were two student speeches and a couple others from the administration. currently AB is the 7th best hs in mass and around 124th in the country. (for college prep ofc). i was seated right in the middle, so the view of the stage was really good. there were a total of 423 ppl graduating, so it took a really long time to read everyones's names. I was wearing a white dress (w pockets) with black steve madden platform sandals. my grad cap and robe on top ofc, i didnt zip it up to go up to get my diploma tho. on wednesday, june 2, 2021 we had our senior sunset sendoff (fake prom) from 7-10pm. before the event tamar, kelsey, esha and I took pics at the acton arboretum. after we got a bunch of good pics, went to the school. the entrance was from the downstairs west hallway and we walked up senior staircase up to the senior patio and out back. the hallway was decorated with a red carpet and the lockers were all covered up. we all got see through drawstring backpacks. senior stairs was decorated with ballons and at the top someone was there to take pics of us. once we got outside i grabbed a couple pink leis and walked around. there were a bunch of games as well as a characteur artist and ice cream truck. it was a really fun night for it being in the school parking lot emma king, age 18, just graduated abrhs
