Peaceful right?

Dear Rachel, Hi, how are you doing? I hope you liked high school and all of the fun things that you were able to do. Right now, I am in 8th grade and not knowing how to start off this letter. Currently, I love sports (particularly volleyball and softball), I love music, baking, hanging out with friends, and church events. One thing that I hope I can work on throughout my high school years is to learn to be more spontaneous, not afraid to try new things. I am very thankful that I made the volleyball team here at Hart for 7th and 8th grade. It was a very fun season with some great games, even with the whole situation going on. I’m a Christian and I hope that throughout my 4 years in high school, that I can learn to grow and become a stronger, more dedicated Christian. I live in our house on Norwich andI live with my Dad, Mom, Joshua, Ben, and Grace. My parents just helped me redo my room, and it looks amazing! Thank you mom and dad! I have amazing grandparents and I love them so much. Most of my friends are at church, but I still have some at school too! I hope that I still have the friends that I have now at Stoney and I hope that I can also make really good new ones. I LOVE Italian food and I hope I have that food at me grad party lol. I love hallmark movies, especially watching it with my mom. We recently just watched season 8 of When Calls the Heart, and we were all shocked from her decision with Lucas. ughh, I hope she can get some common sense and go with Nathan. Mom- you are probably laughing. I love softball and volleyball, but pretty much any sport. I do piano right now and I hope I get better from now until when I am reading this. I also love to sing and dance, although I am not very good. We went to Florida for Josh’s spring break this year- it was a blast!! I hope we go again! I am involved in my youth group and I hope I get to know the people in it more from now until when I leave. Rachel- be thankful for the leaders in the youth group, they spend so much time with you to help you grow in your faith. Don’t take them for granted. I also love late night drives with Avery and Marissa to DQ. Right now, my friends at school are Mikayla McCullen, Sophia Karras, Alina Kendra, Isabel Wilinski, and Grace Bonner. My friends at church are Maddie, Marissa, Avery, Mia, Melina, Tanna, Jessa, Kiley (did she marry TJ yet? ;) ) Savannah, Macy, Ellie, Mikayla and Ruth. I hope they are all doing well. They are all amazing friends so never take them for granted. Stay loyal and always help them at every time possible. Please tell me you have boyfriend or at least can talk to guys by now. Get to know them first and make sure that they love God and UofM. Obviously, my brothers annoy me. But I love them so much. Ben always “hugs”me (tackles me) and pokes fun at me. Josh is my driving buddy, always sharing the aux chord. I hope that Josh and Ben don’t move away for college. I love them so much. Josh- I know you will do amazing at which ever college you chose. Just make sure to duck when you are coming into the classrooms. (Hehe) I really hope that Ben gets a scholarship for football because he is such a good player on and off the field. He is getting tall and ripped. I also hope grace is doing well, she is the best dog and my best friend. In high school, I want to be successful, always trying my hardest no matter what subject. I at least want to have a 4.0 GPA for 2 years. I would like to make the varsity Softball and Volleyball team for Stoney, but don’t be discouraged if you don’t make the teams. I am dreading the SAT’s and the AP exams, but just make sure to study hard. (Even though you probably have already taken the tests when you are reading this.) I hope high school won’t be too difficult. I hope I can maybe go to Oakland, Hope, or a Christian college. I hope that I will know what my profession will be. Right now I either want to be an Elementary school teacher or a hair stylist. Rachel, I hope that you really liked high school and thank you for working hard. Remember 2 things- God is in control of your future, no matter how confusing. Second, always be thankful for whatever God has coming into your life. Hebrews 11:1- “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Psalm 56:3- “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” Thank you and go get em, Rachel Korson.
