A letter from December 17th, 2020

Dear Future Erin, Hi there. As I write this it is currently 5:05 PM on December 16th 2020, and I don't know why I'm writting this. To be honest, I am in a dark spot. I want to know what the future holds and I want to be there now, but I can't. Not knowing is one of the most annoying and hurting things at the moment. Are you in college? Do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend? Have you met Classy in person yet? I just broke up with Brandon and I'm honestly taking it well, he didn't treat us right. Our relationship with mother isn't best, it never really has been good. Is family doing well? Have you made peace? Have you gotten better at art? Please tell me that you're a good person and that you still care and love for the people and world around you. You need that more then ever and so many others do as well. I'm still writting this while in the Corona Virus pandemic. It has been very rough, many are dying and people still aren't treating it seriously. Please be better in the future. Please let it be bright and don't hold any hate in your heart. Dont grow bitter and old. Never forgot your young memories and keep going. Don't ever look back only forward and keep pushing for your dreams and goals, and if you're already there just know that is beautiful. You better be working at Disney and doing great things.
