A letter from December 16th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, So we’ve written one letter a year from now, so now on to our 2025. Currently you were just reading anonymous letters. It was really beautiful to see how long ago these letters were. It made you feel peace knowing and feeling like there were other people like you. You’re laying down wondering what you’ll be doing in 2025 or what has happened. What changed and what it brought. You’re going to be 20 in a few months but probably buy the time you read this letter you’ll be 25 years old. Do you still like rock? Have you learned to play your Jackson? Do you have more guitars you’ve collected? Have you gotten more tattoos? Are you still a cool rocker chick? Did you end up going to the Aftershock Festival? Is Britney still in your life? The best friend you owe a lot to. Are you still in a relationship with that man you call beautiful? How is family? How is Jason? Did you end up joining the army? I hope things are going better than they were in 2020. I hope your anger issues have been resolved and your mental issues overall. I also hope you’re still writing in your journals. You were starting a new one for 2021 since you finished the other. As of right now you’re very eager to know what will happen years from now. Kinda like a ******* YouTube ad that you want to skip. Well 2020 was really your ********* year has there been another since? Let’s hope not. There’s so much you want to say but your mind can’t settle. It’s crazy how people have written letters from 2003 you were barley two years old. It’d be cool to put a face to these people. Also, have you learned how to cook? What has changed compared to what I’m about to list. - weight ********** pounds - no job - anger issues - in a relationship - learning guitar - family - friends - goals - personality I really hope things are different and of course they will be but I hope you are a different person as well. Well the person you wanted to become. It’s currently 10:22 and you’re laying down listening to 3 Doors Down- Kryptonite. Where are you currently at? Are you still living in California? Or are you else where cause of the army. ;) What phone are you using? Do you still have an iPhone 8 Plus? What’s the world like? Is COVID-19 still around? Are mfs still racist? Right now you’re wondering what people are thinking when reading your letter and you’re wondering what they look like or where they’re from. I hope great things in life for you. I hope you always get what you want. And I hope you are happy and I’m peace. And if you’re not and your world is falling apart then continue to listen to HEAVY METAL FOR A cure. Jk If **** is really going worse for you just remember that things will always be worse before they get better. 2025 I know when you get this letter you’re going to wish it was longer to think back on how **** really was and wanting to more details.
