A letter from December 10th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey girl happy golden birthday! I know you’re probably reading this like wtf but trust me when I wrote this I was like wtf. We’re 25 today, isn’t that crazy?! Who knew we would even make it past 18 to be honest. Our life has been so crazy. All the heartbreak, the depression, the hatred for so many people, and the many many attempts at ending your life. But here you are. Started as a 12 year old who wanted to **** herself for the first time and now Standing here at 25 accomplishing more than you ever thought would be possible. You’re amazing. You’re beautiful. And most importantly you’re 25. You made it farther than anyone thought you would. I’m not sure where we are in life right now but whatever you’re going through will get better. All the hardships have passed and it may not seem like it’s easy right now, but eventually you’ll forget it even happened. Never forget where we came from. Life gets crazy but we are who we are for a reason. Never lose your spark or craziness. And Please don’t forget to hug our loved ones a little longer, send that I love you text, go home more often, call home as much as you can, hangout with friends, travel, just do you, and most importantly always say I love you. You may not think you need them right now, but trust me you do. I love you so much and I’m so proud of the woman we’ve become. Xoxo - gossip girl.
