Dear Elise (but 17 yr old form), You're 17 now huh? How are you? Are you still dating James? Are you still unhappy? Are you still trying? You're graduated by now I assume. How's that? Do you still want to go to Salisbury University to become a lawyer? Are you still going through life like it's the worst thing? I know it's hard. I break down too. It's okay. But you'll make it through your life. Is the world still thriving with its global warming? Maybe Jesus came? Oh, do you still believe in God? I hope so. Sincerely, Your 12, (almost 13) year old self.
