A letter from September 24th, 2020

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Currently a Junior in high school (as you might already know) and am currently in U.S. History "class" as I write this. I just finished watching the DearFutureMe HP advertisement and was inspired to write a letter. You will be receiving 2 letters this year, this one and one for after you graduate/ before you start college =) Hmmm... what should I talk about? Is Moh (the semi-feral cat you've been feeding for 6 months now) still around? How about Hog (the other cat)? Oh yeah! You're planning to go on a week trip to Korea soon, how's that working out? Is COVID still around and preventing you from traveling? Also, if you're still planning on going to UCF you should be thinking about applying soon. How are your classes going? Did you opt-in for face-2-face classes? I really do like the stay at home model though. This is getting a bit long and I'm not sure who would really want to read this other than yourself lol But a few words of advice/ encouragement; Just remember that it's going to be okay. Whether or not you get those SAT scores you worked so hard for, it's okay. Whether or not things don't go as you might've hoped/ planned, it will be okay. If this year taught us anything-- it's that life can take a sharp left turn and do a 180 in a matter of days! But you're still breathing and although it may be tough, at least you're alive and enjoying the ride. (Also, remember to enjoy the little things in life before they pass you by) There's always another path just around the corner but of course, you know that ;) Look forward to the next message! Love you always, ❤️️Steph

Epilogue

Hey Steph 😊 boy were you right about things taking sharp turns and not really knowing where the road of life will take us. Right now it's Sunday...
