Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Dear FutureMe, Lockdown is crazy. When we first heard about Covid in China, everyone was so excited at the fact that school might close. I even signed a petition to get school to close, along with many of my friends. Boy, do I regret that :P. Even when my school did close - i think it was on the 17th, earlier than most other schools did, and the government made it compulsory, we did home schooling. We used google classroom, had normal lessons ( although they cancelled one of our french, English and Maths lessons so we only had one french and two Maths and English lessons per week ), and participated in google meets- Spanish in particular was very fun and active- we still participated actively in the lesson, and Sr. Tacoronte picked people to answer questions on the spot- we had to scramble to turn our mics on! I was "self-isolating" for the two days before school closed- i wish i hadn't missed out on the last day. I somehow had managed to convince myself that i might have covid ( as for as i know, i didn't), but i think really, i just stayed at home because self-isolating was the "cool" thing to do back then. Now, i just cant wait for things to return to normal- i miss hugging friends and family, and shopping with my friends in Kingston. Alexis, lockdown was stressful at times. I'll give you that. It seemed like you didn't have to rush to hand in work, so you didn't. Instead, you read or messed around. Then the teachers meant to mark your work left, and you saw no point in completing some of it. Who knows if you ever did complete all of it. Even this letter is late! But know this. You survived handing in your work late. You didn't do, or hand in, your Spanish speaking task for an entire half term after it was due!.(Who knows why you thought it was cool?!) You survived lockdown. As far as i know at the time of writing this, i haven't had covid yet. Who knows if you have. You survived being separated from your friends, from extended family. (Although you did spend a lot of time with your best friend (Heidi) )If you managed to survive this, you can do anything. Don't let anyone put you down. Be brave. Be yourself. Your best self. Believe in yourself. You are unstoppable. "You got this" - :P Lots of love from Alexis xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (Lexi/ Mouldy Strawberry)
