A letter from August 3rd, 2020

Dear FutureMe, I also had the strangest dream a few days ago. So it was during SIP, and I went to a random center to take my SAT Bio test. The place looked kind of like it was in the movie, the giver, but it was more immersed in nature. So anyways, I went to take the test, and there were white cubicles outsides for groups of three students to take their tests. It was super modern and everything, but it seemed a little strange. So I was trying to find my way to the area where I would be taking my test, but then my map suddenly vanished, so I didn't even know where I was supposed to go. Then I was suddenly inside of a car, which was my car, even though I was fifteen, and I was driving through I tunnel in the place when my car suddenly broke down. Then there was a person speaking over the mega-phone telling me that we had only five minutes until the test started...so I was trying to get to the area, even though I didn't know where I had to go, and then I realized that we needed to have our passport or some sort of ID, which I didn't have. So then I quickly ran to the administration desk, which didn't exist seconds before, and I broke down in front of the person that was working there. It was a middle aged European? man, and he looked so startled when I burst down into tears. And then he promised to smuggle me to take the test, since I technically couldn't because I didn't have an identification. So went back to the tunnel where my car was, and the person over the speaker said that we had only one more minute. Then, in front of the center was this sort of souvenir shop, which had a bunch of plushies and other items. And then, my spirit was able to jump into the items inside the store, since I was apparently unable to be seen by anybody that was inside the store. So I jumped from one item to another, but nobody seemed to notice, and the man that was with me thought that it was perfectly normal. So then we finally reached a place with nobody else, but there were also no cubicles for me to take my test, until he made one appear. I then went inside the cubicle and sat, but then I was back at home on the dinning table, while being in the cubicle. Since I wasn't allowed in the world where I was taking the test, he had transferred me back, but nobody could see me, since I was still inside the block. If anything exceeded the parameters that he had built, they would then be able to notice that something was there. So then I started taking the test, but it was pretty hard, and I think that it honestly wasn't worth all the hassle that I had gone through. I don't think that I even would have passed the test, had I actually taken it. Anyways, at one point, my paper was peeking through the block, and my dad was about to come, since he was kind of able to see it. However, the helper man from earlier blocked his view, though my dad couldn't see him, and pushed the paper back in, so then my dad left. Then I finished the test, although I had no idea when it was supposed to end, since I had no way to tell the time. The man from before then teleported us back to the area where everybody had taken the test, and then he disappeared. They couldn't actually grade my test, since I didn't have an ID, so he took it before they could, and then my dream was over. But the strange thing about this dream was, halfway through my dream, I realized that I was in a dream. However, I still kept on going helplessly....so I guess that it was kind of a lucid dream, but not really. I wonder what this means? I think this was the first time that I've had such a vivid and complete dream. The scenes were all in an order that made sense. For the first time in so long, I had a dream after not dreaming for weeks. I guess it was worth the wait. There was also another scene that I'm pretty sure was part of the dream. It was a different dream though, but it was a part of the same time that I was asleep that night. I was at a Korean restaurant with other people, but I don't really remember who else was there with me. I wasn't eating, because I think the scene only lasted for a few seconds. There's this webtoon that I read, and two of the characters from that story appeared in my dreams, though they weren't the main leads. The sister of the main lead and a teacher were out for dinner at the place that I was. The strange thing is, there was never a scene like that in the story, so I'm not sure why exactly it popped up in my dreams. Anyways, that was all I wanted to say before I forgot my dream. I think I'm going to start keeping a dream journal from now on, so hopefully I won't forget anything else in the future. I just thought it would be fun to let you know here, since I haven't dreamt like this every before... a vivid, lucid dream?!? How cool....I'm going to go now...ByE :)
