A letter from July 26th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey shaan. hope all is well on your side :). at the time of writing this message, i’ve 17 and i’m gonna turn 18 tomorrow. big day! idk if i’m that excited or not finally turning into an adult and everything but i can’t wait for the future. how is music going? made it big yet? hahahah! i think you’d have graduated college by now, and you’re an amazing pianist and very knowledgeable producer by now. i’m gonna make sure i practice today so that you play better 5 years from now. i hope your 23rd birthday goes well. i bet you look at the days i’m living and consider them the “good old days”. i hope i live and enjoy each day. have you bought to moog matriarch yet? how many instruments do you play! are you doing music full time? do you have awesome friends/significant other? are you happy? what do you want to do next in life, now that college is over? are you back in india? wherever you are, i just want to say that i’m proud of all that you’ve done these past 5 years and you are really appreciated. it might seem like you aren’t improving right now, but trust me, you’ve come a looooong way since 2020! that’s all for now, cheers future me! 26th july, 2020
