A letter from July 19th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Today is national ice cream day. Yesterday, I successfully made a Costco run and did NOT purchase any of their ridiculously delicious vanilla ice cream. 9,000 calories, all for me. This would hasten my *****. On an almost-related note, I watched the Mikhaila Peterson podcast episode on Youtube, where she and her dad Jordan Peterson discussed his addiction to benzodiazapine (Xanax / Valium / Librium). He meant to take it for a few days, then life got in the way, and he took it for more than four weeks. That's enough to establish addiction, and when he tried to quit, he entered a really deep hell. It's been a year and a quarter, and he's still not completely out. So yay me, no ice cream. The worst thing in my life tight now is a dirty handprint a mechanic left inside my car. ;-) I am grateful for the life God has given me.
