Dear FutureMe,
It’s currently 2020 and I’m in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. I am 15, and have just finished year 10 and anxious for year 11!
When future me is reading this, I am hoping I am at the end of year two of a Midwifery course. Currently I am thinking of going to Birmingham City University- have I got there? If not, why not?
I love the idea of being a midwife. Have you caught many babies? How often do you cry over the job? I cry a lot now, so I can’t imagine how much I will then.
Are you over your want of babies? I would love one right now. Does midwifery make you want one even more? I seriously can’t wait to have children.
Talking about children, are you with anyone? How many people have you been with, and how many people have you slept with? Either way, good for you! I just hope you’re happy with that person, or not with anyone!
Have you made many friends and do you actually trust them? I have always struggled with being 100% with friends, so I really hope that changes and I can just chill without worrying about who is real and who isn’t.
I am nervous about my GCSEs. I am hoping to get a 9 in maths, 8s and 7s in the sciences, 6 in English and French, 7 in catering and an 8 in catering. I’m assuming theses aren’t actually that important in the grand scheme of things- bit silly really.
What have you done for A-level? I’m currently thinking maths, chemistry, biology or psychology. I need ABB to get into Birmingham City, did that happen?
Thank you,
PastMe
