A letter from July 17th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Congrats on being 18! Are you doing well in school? It’s only been months since I wrote this but what I’m sure is that in 6 months, we are already completely different people. Oh i forgot. Happy birthday. You’re legal. Please do vote for competent officials. I’m counting on you. Remember! We are doing things for the future. Remember our dreams. The future is in our hands so please do take care of yourself. I hope by the time you read this, you already stopped making barcodes on your wrists haha. Have a new coping mechanism on your problems please. I know you can do it. You may not be the best among the people surrounding you, but there is nothing wrong from not standing out. As long as you are you, you are fighting, you are a good person and most of all, you are improving. You won’t go far if you won’t start improving yourself. Soar high, future self. Good job for being alive and strong!
