A letter from July 8th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Happy 24th Birthday self, I’m your 19 year old version writing you a future letter and if you ever read this, that only means you still use iphone and i hope its not the iphone 6s, i really hope you upgraded your phone already. And if you’re reading this that means we survived miss rona and i hope everyone is okay, i hope mom and dad is healthy and also josh. Its weird writing a letter like this, tbh im scared. Im scared that maybe we cant even passed 2020, there are so much going on to the point you’re scared for your future, so the fact that you are reading this, that is enough to be grateful. How are you? are you okay? are you well? are you doing great? If you are wondering what your 19 year old self is feeling, well overall you are doing fine, so far. i still dont feel like a 19 year old and idk what 19 suppose to feel like and I hope to figure that out soon. Your 19 y/o self is quite productive in terms of artistry, i joined a contest which is the ateneo art gallery, i hope you remember that since i know you have a weak *** memory but there’s still no announcement. But you, you already knew what happened, did i win? did i make it? if yes, imma spend that coins. if no, why? lol jk. Tbh im slowly doubting myself, right now im feeling i lack validation, i feel like i still have something to prove, so that’s why im eager to earn something, to make myself calm. And i hope i find my inner peace by the age of 24, you old hag. Also, your 19 y/o self is applying in UPD, i was about to do my portfolio, got any tips? by now, you probably know the mistakes that i did lool. Just so you know, if i didnt make it to UP, i would be heartbroken, since mama and papa is rooting for me. Am i qualified enough? You know this whole UP thing is my chance to prove something to myself and to mama and papa. I really hope you already find the validation your 19 year old self is looking for. If we made it, i am so proud of us. If not, i am still proud bc we tried our best. Idk if you are still in university or if you are already working, if the first one, get that high grade sis! your 19y/o loves learning and studying, there’s a small happiness in staying up late to study, it always nice to feel confident that you studied, so focus you dummy. and if you are already working get those coins gurl!! make us rich!!! i hope you are in a good environment work space, i hope you are happy with where you are, i hope you are confident with what you have and still be humble since you know you have so much to learn but never let anyone degrade you. be a bad respectful *****. If you are feeling little, if you are doubting yourself, if you feel like u are not enough, just remember, your 19y/o self is looking up to you, you are my dream, youre already where i picture myself to be. so be proud for all the things you’ve been through, this is your 19 year old self comforting you. If you’re happy, i am happy. I am so proud of us, we are still aiming for our dream so never stop, dont give up, bc i will not, i will make sure im going to read this in 5 years and say “Yes, we did it”. I love you self.
