A letter from July 7th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, The day before yesteday was daddy's 44th birthday and guess what? You probably already know but I was the one to do the cake! I'm very proud of myself because since the churros accident it's I think the first time I cooked something again and obviously if we weren't in quarantine right now, we just would have bought a cake but with quarantine, it's not that easy and we can't really go anywhere. At the time I am writing to you this letter we are just one week away of moving back to Europe forever.... So please when you read this, remember all the good friends you had in Houston (Zoe, Mathilde, Lucas, Louna, Coco...) and what a cool life you had there. But, I hope Europe will be cool too and even better than Texas. At the time I am writing you this I'm still a childish 13 years old who wishes Coronavirus would have never existed and that she could stay in Houston forever but life isn't fair so all my wishes cannot come true so I'll have to get used to it. At the time I'm writing this letter, I'm reading the diary of Anne Frank and I think it's pretty cool that she wrote a Diary while she was in a hidden place hiding from the Nazis. As you know, I am also writing a diary and our 11 years old (at this time) sister told me that maybe one day my diary will also get published because I wrote in it while in Covid-19 quarantine. I hope she's right and then maybe I'll get famous. I also wanna ask you if our sister ever got famous cause right now she's writing an album and she hopes that she can then publish it when she's done. She right now has 10 songs and she wants to get 12 before posting her album. If she ever gets famous, will she keep her own name (Milla B.) or will she get a performance name (like Lorde did). At the time I am writing to you this, our smaller sister is still a 4 months old little baby but at the time you'll read it she will already be 5. It's kind of incredible how I can write future letters for myself. Like I think it's so cool! I don't actually know where I'll live in 5 years but I hope it will be a cool place! I think this is all I want to say to you so bye! Remember to always be strong and brave and kind. Also, remember your favorite quote at the time I'm writing this: The only time goodbye is painful is when you know you'll never say hello again.
