A letter from July 6th, 2020

Dear Amber, Yesterday, I got a letter from the Amber of 2017. It was full of hope and dreams. I think I wanted the Amber of 2020 to be hopeful and forgiving but it was all destroyed by papa. It was heartbreaking because at this time, he blames me again for everything and I swear I hated him so much that I wanted to leave home. If I left, would you have been the Amber you are right now? Did I make a wrong decision by staying? I think I could only forgive him if he's gone. I know it's wrong but it's just how I feel. Please be kind to yourself and remove all the toxic and dark people in your life now. I pray that you become stronger, enough to put yourself first before others. I love you!
