Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, you‘re amazing the way you are and I hope you‘ve learned to embrace that without feeling any shame, need to adapt or to hold back. Exploit your full potential, there‘s much more to you than you might suspect. Be proud and confident of every piece of you and if there’s parts you don’t want to be proud of, strive for improvement. Remember to live every moment as if it could be your last one and don‘t get stuck up in thoughts and worries about the future (rich coming from someone who‘s writing to somebody in the future, but you know you‘re a smartass by now). It might get tough or you might live through a difficult time as you read this, but remember what you have gotten through and what still awaits you. Learn to cherish the ups and highlights instead of letting the past haunt you. Let the downs strengthen you. Maybe you haven‘t figured out yet what you want to dedicate your life too, but you‘ll find out and I want you to continue to stay true to yourself and your passions. Don‘t let anyone cloud your judgement and stick to your moral compass and gut feeling, it will guide you and show you what decisions to make. Always give people a chance despite your distrustful nature, but don‘t let them use your empathy and good will against you - you‘re allowed to cut off toxic people. Appreciate those around you who bring you happiness and let them know! It‘s okay to be vulnerable and express love, it doesn‘t make you any less strong (in contrary, it shows you‘re brave enough to open yourself up to others). Once you receive this message, I want you to think back and consider the progress you made, no matter how insignificant it might seem. Recognize your personal achievements, how far you‘ve come and never stop striving for more. You can do anything. Love, your past self that‘s really cheering for you ******
