A letter from July 1st, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hi future self it's me danica, yourself. Do you remember this letter you've wrote 5 yrs ago? I hope you still remember this, because this is the time that you were bored and experiencing anxiety. You were alone in bedroom, lights off, laying on your bed while writing this in your phone. So you remembered it na ba? I write this for you, my future self. You are now 23 yrs old, still in college right? Graduating na ba? So excited to see you graduate and become an architect. I hope you pursue your dream of being an architect. I'm really proud of you. June 24, 2020. 9:00pm.  This was the time that you always felt alone. Grabi no brokenhearted ka girl tapos iyak iyak ka pa. Yung taong iniiyakan mo noon sana hindi na siya yung iniiyakan mo ngayon. Siguro ngayon may boyfriend ka na. Sana yung boyfriend mo ngayon inaalagaan ka ng maayos, sana siya yung first and will be the last man of your life. If wala ka pang boyfriend, I'm pretty sure you were waiting for your graduation. Ganun ka naman eh self, you always prioritize your study first. You want everybody to be proud of you. Diba you always want to design and build a church so that in the future you will marry your future husband in that church. Dream mo yun diba? I'm pretty sure meron ka na ngayong naiisip na design for that. Please make it happen. Diba you also want to build your house, and renovate your lola's house. I've seen how great your heart is. I really know you, ikaw yung tipo ng tao na kapag nangako sa sarili niya walang makakapigil doon. Remember when you promised to yourself that you won't drink alcohol until you turn 18, you made it!. Also remember the time that you said you won't accept any suitors until you graduate highschool, sis you also made it! Do you also remember when you said you will be an architect someday?, I'm pretty sure it'll happen. It's been 5 years since you felt empty. It's been 5 years since you wrote this. Just because you were curious about those 'letter to future' if it is real or not. And yes it was real! You've have read this na. Do you still remember parallel world 2? The book the you made 5 years ago? I hope you still remember how painful it is writing this story. Still remember those time that just like Sam, the protagonist, you were crying while writing their story. Do you still remember the person who became your inspiration to wrote this? Do you still remember the first person that break your heart? I hope you won't remember the pain you've felt. I hope you have move on and look forward. Just like Sam, wherever you are right now, I hope you are happy. Do you met your Ethan Lim? Or Ethan Alcantara?. I'm just joking. No words can't explain how happy I am seeing you happy. Remember your stories? Best before, as we fall, midnight musings, which is witch and when parallel world meets? You didn't finish it. Ano tapos mo na ba ngayon? Is parallel world 2 famous na ba? I hope someday people will look at you and say you're the best author in the world. Kamusta? Sumasayaw ka pa ba? I hope you still dance, cause that is what you want right? It was your talent. Still love art? Hobby mo parin bang magpaint and magdrawing? Girl, diba you also want to make an exhibit of your paintings someday? Oh God you have so many talents but you're too lazy to enhance it. Oh remember the time that you felt like you are alone in your journey. You always hate yourself, sometimes you want to be lost and don't want to be found. You don't have the confidence, you are always insecure, you lost friends and even yourself. You lost yourself but now I hope you found it, you found your true self. Remember the time that you went inside the church, you cried while praying. Remember what you prayed for? You were praying to God to give you a shield for that pain you've felt. And he gave it. Diba you no longer feel the pain anymore? I'm very happy for you self and very proud. You always had a dream of becoming an actor, you made it na ba? If not, I'm pretty sure God has another plan for you. Never ever doubt about God ok?. He was always there for you. Remember the time that you prayed you don't want to be alone? God sent you your friends, he made a way for you not to be alone. Never forget that ok. Always put God in your heart. He is the answer, he is the way and he will always be right beside you. Never lose faith in him. Thank you for not giving up on yourself. You were really great. Always do the whats make you happy, time is short. I want you to be the happiest version of yourself.
