A letter from June 30th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, hey. did you finally graduate from school? your grades have been really bad these past couple years. did you finally get to graduate with your friends? are you finally done getting up at 5:30 in the morning? are you finally done dealing with the people you don’t like? are you finally improving your grades? hey. are you over that tyler kid? did you find all the pieces of you heart to put them back together? did you finally realize your worth? did you finally realize that the people that come in your life aren’t always for good reasons? or they aren’t all to stay? did you finally realize that you’re way better than him? did you finally open the door for him? yeah i know, i know he really broke you, made you feel like **** but that’s okay!! it was for a lesson and i hope you know that now. hey. are you finally done letting people walk all over you? are you finally done putting up with people who don’t deserve to be in your life? hey. did you, jorie and olivia ever become friends again? or at least ever talk? hey. did you finally tell david how you feel? hey. do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend yet? hey. what’s your body count? hey. have you gone to any parties? hey. did you finally get the help you needed? did you finally come out of your depression? did you finally find happiness? hey. i love you! and even if you didn’t fulfill all these, you’re strong and you’re who you are. you can’t change that.
