A letter from June 24th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, These are difficult times that we are living in. You remember the coronavirus right? Well, that is the time we are living. Don't take your loved ones for granted. The virus can infect anyone and everyone. Even a single small thing could end the world as we know it. Be careful. Coronavirus is the thing responsible for this global pandemic but recently new Zealand beat the coronavirus and is now free from the curse of this disease. but the rest of the world is still battling their hardest. but here in Dubai, they did very well until Ramadan. we had like 13 per day before Ramadan but then when they opened the mall for Ramadan there were more and more cases every day we have almost reached the 40,000 coronavirus cases in Dubai. daily there are 500-900 cases per day but before just 13 cases then it was 139 then it increased even more. If there was one thing that I have learned during this global pandemic is that life is pretty fragile, even one mistake could cost the lives of hundreds! Don't ever give up on hope. As long as there is fear there will always be hope. I just can't believe that I am in lockdown again! Last year it was bombing around march, and this year it's the coronavirus lockdown in march! (Two lockdowns in the space of about 2 years.) As long as you keep fighting you will survive. We will win this battle. Sincerely your past lockdown self
