Time Travelled — about 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Today you are 20, almost 21 years old. Your life right now is a complete mess, you don't know what you want from life, you don't know if you're ever going to find a partner in life, you don't think that you deserve anything good going on for you. Your stupid anxiety doesn't let you enjoy the nice things in life, although we're in the middle of a pandemic right now, so there's not much you can do about getting your life together right now, except reflect a lot. Five years from now, I hope you are genuinely happy, I hope you have a job that you love or if you keep studying, I hope it is something that you're really passionate about. I hope you don't procrastinate as much anymore, please, that is something I really hope you change in your future. I hope you have a good relationship with your parents. I hope that in the span of these five years you found the time to actually talk to them about your life and your problems. I know you will still have a great relationship with your siblings. I hope you and your sister continue being really close and trust each other. Most of all, I hope you found love, I hope you found a guy that truly deserves you because you are awesome (even if you don't feel like it most of the time). I hope you found THAT person for you and if you feel something don't be afraid to go for it, don't make the same mistakes again, allow yourself to love and be loved, open yourself up to someone that sees you as the incredible woman you are. I hope you continue having the beautiful heart you have that's always willing to help those in need. Wherever you are living now, I'm sure it'll be great. I am sure that life has great things still coming your way. The most important thing that I hope for you is that you will be emotionally stable, you won't overthink everything so much anymore, you can control your anxiety and don't let it get the best of you, you are no longer in a constant battle with your mind, and you love the way you look, you are absolutely comfortable with your own body. If things are still somewhat complicated for you, remember that you can take anything, you are strong, you have the ability to overcome any obstacle that's thrown at you and you never give up no matter how hard things may seem (also, I hope you are fluent at least in French) :)
