Dear FutureMe,
So you left him a year and a half ago, it was tough but you managed it. Your mental health was not good, it still isn’t. You don’t know how to set boundaries with people around you and speak up when you feel uncomfortable. You let other people’s feelings become more of a priority in your life than your own. You get attached to people who aren’t emotionally available therefore hurt you more and break you. You don’t love yourself but you have learned to accept yourself and your body. You crave that intimate relationship and healthy relationship with one person but never seem to get there because of the unresolved trauma you leave yourself with. You aren’t the best mother you try but you just can’t seem to get that motivation and people (you know who) tear you apart for that, you try your best with what you’ve got but it’s not enough for people in your life. You don’t want to be here and you most definitely don’t think you’ll be here to receive this letter in five years but if you do, well done. You currently don’t have a life plan you have no clue where your life is going but your only 21 right now things might change. I hope you are happier, I hope you have learned how to be the most content and I hope to god you are still here to get this letter. I hope things are better in 5 years.
