Time Travelled — almost 5 years

A letter from June 15th, 2020

Peaceful right?

So. The world kinda gone to ****. So far in 2020: Australia has been on fire then drowned, ww3 nearly started, miss rona arrived, Ahmuad Aubrey was shot by some white supremacists when he was out jogging, and they were arrested three months later due to pressure form the media. Another black man was ****** by the police. He was called George floyd and he was ****** after a white police officer (derek chauvin) Knelt on his neck for over 8 minutes. This sparked protests all over the word protesting police brutality. America retaliated with more brutality. British protests were derailed by the EDL. It all went a bit **** up really but it got the message across however I don’t think it’s stop anytime soon. I feel like we are the revolution and we will make the change that needs to happen. I just know that in 20 years you’re gonna live telling the stories from your childhood about the revolution we led. I’m pretty sure you will still have the videos if you scroll back to mid March of 2020 you’ll find everything there. Enjoy telling the our story and make us look good ya know. Keep fighting and don’t ever stop. Use your privilege for good. Do not speak for your black fellows and know when to take a step back and listen to what they have to say. Let people know what we did and how we did it. Remember that we looked a corrupt system in its eyes and challenged it, not fearing what would happen to us in the process. We all came together and no man was left behind. We united as a world. It was spectacular. Don’t ever forget what we started. WE ARE THE CHANGE. Who knows what will happen for the rest of 2020 but I know it’ll be interesting. Regardless, stay safe and stay informed. Cherish your family and live your life. good luck x Meg.
