A letter from June 9th, 2020

Dear Sabrina of the Future, I'm currently on my bed writing this letter that you will receive in five years. Instead of doing a research paper for my American Literature class (Mrs. Martinez), I decided to write to you- I mean us? a letter! It is May 11, 2020, 10:25 pm and you are under quarantine :( Sadly your senior year has been **** due to this coronavirus thing and all of your activities like the passing on ceremony, senior week, senior prank day and even graduation have been canceled. Even though this greatly affected you in the past I hope that you learned how to make your peace with this. Why don't I tell you a little bit about how my life is right now? Well if you saw the date when this letter was written you probably got ptsd from quarantine and the whole coronavirus thing. This means that you know our life was not very eventful at this point in time. I've been eating, watching Netflix, and playing with Kobe (he's currently 6 months old, I hope he is not dead when you receive this letter). I have also been scrolling through tik tok NONE STOP, this is where I actually found this cute website. I imagine that you are in the last year of college or maybe already got in law school (wouldn't it be crazy if you decided to take a totally different career path) anyways if you have followed the plans I currently have for us you are probably in Ponce studying law. Maybe you met a cute ponce guy (we all know you LOVE those) Wherever you are and whatever you are doing with our life I just hope that you're happy and making your 17-year-old self proud.
