A letter from June 9th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, How are you? Right now, it is the last day of school for 7th grade. I am 13 years old, and I am living with Mom, Dad, and Logan. I have two pets, Olive and Greta. Has that changed? I'm not in a relationship at the moment, are you? Right now I get mostly A's and B's for grades, has that changed? I am on BU13 select for soccer, did you make it to Varsity? I have a few more questions. Are you happier now? Have you stopped thinking about self-harm? Are you popular like Logan? Did you make more friends? Did you make Varsity for track? Have you stopped worrying about boys? Do you know your worth now? Do you and Grandpa and Grandma still have sleepovers? What I want you to know is that you have come so far from who you have been in 7th grade. You are loved. You are smart. You are worth it. Love, Past you
