A letter from June 9th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey! It’s your younger self. How are you? How have you been doing? Are you still alive? Are you still struggling? I hope not. What’s it like in 2025? You’re turning 18 I see. Are you still struggling in school? I wouldn’t be shocked. We aren’t the brightest people. Are you living in Slovakia? You know mommy always says how in two years she’ll move to Slovakia. I wonder if she actually stuck to it. If we aren’t in slovakia, are mommy and daddy still together? Did they overcome their problems? Did daddy stop drinking? Did he get a job yet? I hope so.. soo.. did you sort out your gender identity yet? Are we a boy like I think we are? Or am I just confused? I guess I’ll never know. Well atleast not until 5 years pass and I read this again. What’s your plans for the future? I want to become something in the law field, or many in the medical field. Did I stick to that? Or did we become famous singers with Enaad? I wonder. I really wonder. Are we happy? I’m not really the happiest person, yknow. I wonder if I changed. well.. there isn’t much more I want to ask. Do you have a partner? Maybe some new friends? Any friends whatsoever? It’s funny huh. I don’t have any friends. Do we still share a passion for dancing. And do we play volleyball competitively? I love volleyball, I wish i could play it. I’d be outside hitter, despite being short. Oh! Did we get taller? Please say yes. I won’t except no for an answer. We better be 5’7 when I read this in five years. How’s Nona? Is she doing well? I hope so. I miss her. How’s Christian, and Leoni? And zdenka and matias? They’ll be grown up by the time I read this in five years. I bet we’re the coolest cousin ever. How’s enaad? Is he traveling Europe like he said or is he hogged up in his room, I wouldn’t be shocked if he was shocked. How’s mommy? Is she doing well? Did you finally learn how to respect her? Clean up your room if you haven’t already. How’s daddy? Still being daddy? Watching football in the lounge with coffee? I hope everything’s doing well. I can’t wait to read this in five years. I may be impatient, but I know in a week for now I’ll forget about it, and be shocked when I receive it in my email. Oh a few last questions. Do black people have rights? In 2020 we had a huge protest for black lives matter. I’m not sure if you remember. Like corona virus, almost had world war three, wild fires in Australia. This year is truly ****** up lmao. Are you still lgbt? I mean I don’t know why I’m asking this but, I sort of have a fear we’ll be put in conversion camp to pray the *** away. I don’t know. It was fun talking to you.
