Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Today is the 8th June 2020. You’re in the middle of a global pandemic and a life changing black lives matter movement. I’d love to talk about that, but these things are going to be in history books you know, you can read it there. But what you won’t be able to read is what happened when you were 18. Today you had to make a big decision that will impact your entire future. For real. And when you told it to your mother she flipped. She was already mad because your father blamed her for everything that is happening because of you. When I told it to mom she got mad and at the same time dad came home. I told him that I wished he died today, because I hate him. I hate him so much. I hate myself so much. When you said these words you went into your room but your mother followed you and screamed at you. You went to bring away dishes and when you came back your mother was laying on the ground. She fainted. Because of you. Your sister came downstairs and beat you up and your mother didn’t want your help. I took a shower and packed my stuff i was ready to Leave this house. But she didn’t let me she beat me up. Just because „we’re not like other people“. I am unsure of everything unsure of my life and everything I have and own. But let me tell you, I hope from now in a few years when you get this. I hope you’re gone and you live the way you want to be. I hope you achieve your dreams with the decision that you made today. Because it’s what you deserve. I hope you went far away to Italy in a small village and you live your best life, it’s what you deserve. I love you so very much. Do better. - your 18 year old you
