A letter from June 7th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, yo.. it’s 2020. lemme tell you, this year has been crazy and it’s ONLY june 7th! the street that the white house is on is NOW CALLED BLACKLIVESMATTER PLAZA. that’s so amazing. you’re laying down at 5:20am typing this bc you saw it on tiktok. ima be weakkk if we’re still on that app by this time. it feels like once you became 18 everything just sorta got a lil harder but made sense... you get what i’m saying? like friendships mean a lot more now because of communication. you starting to realize your mistakes when you were 15 till now. it’s just... amazing. and the best part is you’re even more connected with God. like the Faith is getting stronger everyday and who knows what’s gonna happen in the next 5 years but sis, you’ll be 23 and hopefully done w college... cus idk you might do grad. honestly, rn i’m not feeling college. it’s just school in general, i’m gonna pray i find motivation and stick to you ONLY because i want you to be more successful than you are right now. that’s the problem now, i’m lazy. like the minute something gets too hard i be wanting to not do it anymore. but i’ve surprised myself really because i have a job by being PERSISTENT on applying and invested in a big business called forex. i’m praying it’ll help me in the future. you’ve been working out a lot and tryna get your weight down. i really wonder how we gone look in 5 years. girllll, i’m so pretty! lol are we.. gonna have kids??? LMAO woah calm down this is crazy. you gotta chill. i been saving.. not specifically for something but i know i want a car. they keep saying ima get the gray truck but idk i’ll believe it when i see it. anyway THERE IS THIS PANDEMIC GOING ON. we living through it girl. it’s miss rona herself, CORONAVIRUS and she shut down E V E R Y T H I N G for months. like imagine... it’s been since april that i’ve had a haircut... wow. well a professional one i had to do it myself smh. jordan and allexis will be 16 and 17.... i can’t wait to see how much they’ve changed. KAYLA WILL BE 28 or 29. i wonder where she will be, she always talking bout leaving and going far away sis plssss lmao. my mama gonna get older.. i’m sad now and demond lol they said they’re getting married june 20, 2020 but we’ll see ik they scared lol. and grandma and grandpaaaa ouuu what they doing. better be HEALTHY. and grandma lena. you have a few friends but they mean so much to you. you have friends from home and college. i wonder what the bond is like now. all of your friends mean a lot to you and you just want the best for them. i hope i’ll have my own apartment or something by this time. if not it’s cool, doesn’t mean i’m a failure or anything, just going on my own pace. how much has your hair grown? it’s 6 in rn. if you’re not already in a relationship rn, i hope they’re treating you with sooo much love and patience. i pray they match your goofiness and affection, maybe even more! it’s hard to find people who are like that and not as prideful. rn you’re struggling w your ********* bc of the Bible. you’re basically just trying to learn to love yourself and be PATIENT. like honestly God knows your intentions and He knows you want to do right by Him so just trust Him and the process girl. okay i’m gonna end it here bc it’s 5:36am and i have work at 1pm! couldn’t go to sleep i was too nervous. i love you, so so so much. (i just smiled lololol, now i’m smiling harder). be blessed and safe in this unpredictable world. keep your mind on track, you know what’s important.
