Peaceful right?

Dear future-Grace, Hey, It’s currently 2.34am on the 7th June 2020. You graduated highschool this year!!!!! Don’t you remember? I know you’re probably doing something you love right now right? Living with the woman of your dreams right??? Right now I’m talking to a good friend, listening to some Bright Eyes and feeling a bit sad. I love my family but they really drive me crazy sometimes. I’m longing for love these days. Reading like crazy...drawing as usual...trying to decide what i want to do with this great big life of mine. Well you don’t have to wonder because you’ve got it all figured out ;-) I know you have. Even if it doesn’t seem like it. I hope you’ve travelled the world, and if you haven’t, get out there!!!!! Stick on some music like the old times, tell mum you love her more than she’ll ever know and please!!! get out there. Call an old friend, tell them they made a difference in your life and you’d love to catch up over a cup of tea in St Stephen’s green. Go home and hug your family and cuddle Bennie and Winnie for me. Don’t forget how you felt right now, in this moment. I may just be a dumb 18 year old kid but I feel like there are endless opportunities for me...and I won’t miss a single one. Last of all, be kind to yourself. You’ve always done your best. You are still doing your best. Don’t let pride get in the way of expressing your emotions and don’t let yourself down. You deserve to be happy. You always have and always will. Now go out and be kind to everyone and do something nice! I love you more than you’ll ever know future me. Goodnight & stay safe you’re a friend to yourself :-)
