A letter from June 6th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey there :) As of right now, I am 13 years old, turning 14 in 4 months. How have you been? You look beautiful today Speaking of beauty, how did that whole diet plan work out? Did you do it? You have a lot of potential and good intentions, but sometimes, you overlook yourself. You truly are beautiful There are so many things I want to ask you!!! Here’s an idea, I will just do a rapid fire list! 1) remember Lance? How did that turn out? Did you move on? You don’t need a boyfriend to validate yourself, you are enough 2) what happened in 2020? I hope you are in a world where you don’t have to where a mask and gloves just to go on a walk outside 3) is tiktok still a thing?? I never downloaded it but some of the things on there were pretty funny I’m in the ghetto ratatattaaaa! 7) haha I wrote 7 by accident :P this is actually number 4. Did you ever fix your issues with spelling? 5) how is teddy? Wow! She must be 10 years old by the time you are reading this!!! Right now she is only 5! You should go play with her 6) Go give your mom a hug! Did you two ever stop fighting? 7) what high school did you choose to go to? Right now, in seventh grade, I’m trying to decide between freeman and Maggie walker, but my parents still want me to consider Deep Run 8) what classes are you taking? Please tell me one of them is art lol 9) who are your friends? Do you remember the play you did in seventh grade? Cinderella? That was a fun time 10) do you think that you have improved your singing skills since 7th grade? 11) you must be almost done with high school by now!!! You can do it!!! Remember to apply for lots of scholarships! It’s an investment for your future!! 12) are you dating anyone? Lol I just want to hear the tea 13) remember, always say no if you even remotely feel like you should 14) don’t do drugs!
