Dear FutureMe,
Hey it’s me all the way from June 6th 2020. I’m sure you’re wondering as to why 17 year old self did this. It’s because I know that you’re way happy than 15 year old me. But. I know you’re going to still be with Zuri and I’m pretty sure you guys had gotten engaged and probably planning the wedding. I’m pretty sure you never de transitioned because of how much you had fought for that spot. For years. I know that you had became the best man that 17 year old me can possibly see. I just hope that you understand that we fought so hard to get the body we wanted. And we fought so hard for a new identity to live your life. I know you and your mom don’t talk as much as you thought. And I know that you’re still healing from the memories that had resurfaced. You have been through so much. You had gotten clean from self harm. You had gotten the help you needed. You are such an inspiration. You and your dad probably cut all ties from the moment he stopped talking to you. I just did this because I know you’re grown and out of state. Probably working. In an house or apartment. I just wanted to say I’m proud of you. I’m proud that you graduated and I’m proud that you was able to get out of your mothers toxic house. I’m so proud that you get to live in a world where equality can be shared in any type of way.
Love 17yr old Colin.
