A letter from June 6th, 2020

Dear future lexi, if you don’t remember, it is the summer before my senior year of highschool. right now we are going through the Covid-19 pandemic and the BLM movement. it’s really crazy. I can’t wait to hear about what you’re doing with your life:) wel i won’t be hearing about it...but i’m so excited to see where life takes you...by the time you’re reading this, i think you would have just graduated college!! did you end of majoring in Interior Design?? Did you learn a lot from your classes?? Have you talked to any of your highschool friends? Like Katie Meeks, Zane Nicholson, Laila Gober, anyone lol? OOH!! are you still with Andrew and do y’all have a house together? i know i’m asking so many questions that i will never actually get answered back to my past self (i guess my present self...kinda trippy). If you’re wondering what 17 year old Lexi is doing right now, i’m sitting in bed at 12:56am watching Tik Toks...IS TIK TOK STILL AROUND?? I actually found this idea from Tik Tok (to send this to 23 year old lexi). holy ****...i’ll be 23. YOURE 23?? have you drank alcohol? wait...when did i get my license?? do you drive? omg lol this is all so weird. i’m wanting all these answers now. DO YOU STILL HAVE WINNIE? how is she? is she getting old? i wanna ask more questions, but i feel like you’d wanna know more about your past 17 year old self more than anything. Well...I started working out and I’m starting to love myself again, but for real this time. it’s taking some strength and effort, but i think i’ll make it:) WAIT HOLD ON....ITS 2025?? that’s SOOO CRAZY. do you still have ADD or did you grow out of that because i bet you can tell i’m bouncing off the walls LMAOOOO. we should start a tradition where we write letters to our future selfs every 5 years!! I’m really excited to get this letter. I wish there was an option to send a picture with this to see how much i’ve grown lol.. i honestly can’t think of anything else. i’ll probably write something else tomorrow. so stay tuned for tomorrow..hopefully it’ll be a more formal one lol.
