A letter from June 4th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, I am writing you this letter from English class on June 3rd, 2020. Currently my life involves my family and my house in Valley Stream, NY. I do have dreams for the future and they include getting a scholarship to a desirable college like Harvard or Yale since they will definitely set me up with a good job. I also would like to get at least 2 cats and a nice house in Japan. If not, ill settle for Florida. As of now, my school work is not the best but I am really working on it because I'm about to go into highschool and I don't want to ruin my chances at excelling in all my classes. I don't have a job right know, but I'm working with Dad at his construction sites and yes, he pays well. I would like to get a job at a fast food restaurant like McDonalds or Burger King. If I don't land a job there, I'll try Target. I only have $13 right now but I will definitely save up to get some Amazon gift cards. My family situation is great. My family is so loving and caring and they always have time for me. I never feel stressed in my house because my family is super nice. Brian is very funny lately, Brittany is a lot less talkative than she used to be, Brandon is so much more caring and more of a big brother figure, Dad is really supportive about everything I do, and Mom is really nice. I don't have many friends, as I consider them acquaintances, and I'm in a very supportive relationship right now. I plan on going to some protests for George Floyd. I presume you haven't forgotten about him, so I wont need to explain much about him. I'll stay as safe as I can out there, not for my sake, but for ours. It's incredibly depressing to see what's going on outside right now and I hope we can get through this. I wish there was someone to tell us that it'd all be okay and we'll be alright in the end of it all. I'm losing weight more and more. Soon I'll be much happier with myself and my body image. I'm really into pennyboarding; and I'm not terrible at it. Its surprisingly fun and I enjoy it. I also play a lot more video games. I'm not sure if that's a good thing but to me, it is.
