Dear FutureMe, You’re 22 now, have you made it? Are you in college? Did you go to Winona, UMN or MCAD? Or neither of those at all? Did you ever get ferrets? Move out? Travel more? How’s your mental health, have you stayed clean? Any new heartbreaks or loves? Are you engaged, married? Any kids? Remember you were waiting until you were 29 for a CAREER! How’s your career going? Are you a teacher? A psychologist? A therapist? Or even a tattoo artist? Have you given up on social media? I can only hope so. At 17, Youre still longing over Evan, did that ever happen and work out? Should I keep hurting and waiting? ****. How did everything go..? Was it everything I wanted..? Or did he not stick to his word? Did I fall in love with someone else..? What happened... anyways, how’s mark and xenia? Any new pets? Where are you living now? Your own place or at home? I hope it’s your own place! Have you been keeping in touch with papa and grandma? They miss you. Always. Grandma and grandpa can’t live without you you keep them too much company. I hope they’re well. How’s dad? How’s mom? Is dad clean? Has he stayed out of jail? How are the boys? Did they get to graduate? Did you graduate on time? Did you graduate from Elk River or Anoka? Did you write on your cap for Philip? How was jennas funeral? Great grandmas funeral? Did you get the closure you needed for all of that? Have you healed? Does it get easier?
