Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I miss physically interacting with people, especially my friends. It’s definitely not the same as texting, calling, or facetiming. I miss being able to go out with my friends, especially my best friend, Anu. We would always go to the mall and eat a lot of food or we would go to six flags. Another thing would be being able to go swimming. Since I don’t have a pool and due to quarantine I can’t go to a friend’s pool or even a community pool, I feel like I can’t truly have a summer or even cool off. A third thing would be being on the dance team that I miss a lot. Dancing with the people I love makes it 100% more worth going to school. Lastly, I miss seeing my younger siblings (half-siblings) because I didn’t get to see them as often before quarantine, but because of quarantine I can’t see them at all in order to ensure safety for all of us. As a result of quarantine I will miss seeing my friends, going out places with my friends, dance team, seeing my younger siblings and swimming. Despite all the things I miss before quarantine, there are some things that I actually like about quarantine that I will miss. Quarantine let’s me get things done at my own pace. For example when I had school I left my room a mess after trying to find an outfit, but now I have time to clean my room and put everything away. Also my room is able to never get messy and since I have a specific place for everything it’s always organized. I will also miss being able to give full attention to my hair. For example being able to spend 7 hours braiding my hair. Even though I could do that on the weekends before quarantine, the week would drain my energy so I’d use my weekend to sleep and rest. Lastly, I will miss being able to have as much time alone as I want. For me personally I like to have a lot of alone time, and before quarantine I didn’t ever really get that, especially on some weekends where I just wanted to rest. The reason is because the weekend was full of chores that took a long time, but due to quarantine the chores are stretched out throughout the week, so that it’s not over **** on the weekend. After quarantine I will miss getting things done at my own pace, a clean room 24/7, full attention to my hair, as much alone time as I wanted, and less chores on the weekends.
