A letter from June 2nd, 2020

Dear Lety, Today is Monday of June 1st, 2020. It has been a wacky year, hopefully, you haven’t forgotten about it. As I am typing this, I’m obviously at home, Claudia is watching Louie Castro on YouTube, Ximena and Valeria are watching Netflix, and mom just got out of the shower. Dad is at his auto shop, probably on his way home soon. I’m listening to our “IDEK” playlist on Spotify in the background. Specifically the song “One Of These Nights” by The Eagles. Not that it matters but thought you should know. You are probably, and hopefully, traveling as we’ve always wanted to do so that might have given you a sense of home. If not, that’s okay as well. Maybe we moved or remodeled the house, so you needed a reminder of what it was like before. Anyway, what’s up? Are you still into cinematography? Or photography? You have to be something similar to it. Knowing us, we are starting small and climbing the ladder up until we get there. Or I’m underestimating us and you actually have your own film and photography business. Whichever one comes first! I’m feeling okay right now. These are scary and but important times. We are literally living history. I don’t know how to feel about that. I’m hesitant to look at the news. It’s mostly people looting a business or someone getting ********. Or another case of COVID-19 in town. There’s been “UFO” sightings and ****** hornets as well. I’m surprised that the world hasn’t burned down yet. Oh wait, there are Zombie fires now. It’s great. Also, there is a possibility that we might go into another Great Depression. BUT I have not given up yet. I holding on. The election is soon and this will hopefully be resolved. Trump will be no more! Right? I can’t wait for what the future holds, but also nervous. I want to believe that this will be over in a year but honestly, it just looks like its getting worse. I’m keeping myself busy by keeping up with my homework, drawing, and watching Netflix. I went back to work as well, which I know is not the most ideal thing right now. We need the money. I’ve got a phone and car insurance to pay (especially after our little incident with the car). So, yeah, hopefully, you feel relieved after reading this because the world is a better place. Also, I know you can’t answer this, but is One Direction back together? Love Lety! <3
