A letter from June 2nd, 2020

Dear FutureMe, The date is 2nd of June 2020. The world is really scary right now. George Floyd died recently after being ****** by a police officer, who’s now been arrested. There are riots and protests all across America as people want justice, because black lives matter. Trump is now threatening to bring the military in, basically starting a civil war. Anonymous is back, giving us information about Trump, the government, countless things. Trump has been shown as a rapist and a racist. But he is still president? It’s crazy and it’s scary. A man that unstable, that cruel has so much power. Over here things aren’t good either. There’s protests, but the coronavirus is also still devastating us. There have been so so many deaths. I hope that when you read this people like Boris Johnson have been held accountable for their actions, but i’m worried they won’t have been. Something needs to change - people have died because of actions (or lack of) that our government has taken. It’s a really scary world right now, i hope where you are there’s justice and peace , and the black lives matter movement has been heard and helped. I hope things are better, we can’t bring children into a world like this. A society that judges, and police that **** based on the colour of someone’s skin? It’s disgusting. So many lives have been lost in 2020, and through history because of racism. It’s not a good year for us and i really hope things are better now.
