A letter from June 1st, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Today’s June 1st and the world is crazy right now. I remember writing letters earlier this year but I completely forgot about this with what’s going on. I’m pretty sure the events of this year would go in a history book. So much craziness is happening we’re in a world pandemic right now but also we are fighting for justice and our rights. The first case of corona happened in December of 2019 but it was disregarded we were warned by many people but they were ****** of course the government will try to hide that fact but its true. Corona started spreading people got sick and started dying and people also tried to make it seem like it wasn’t a big deal but it was and still is. It started spreading in the US in mid March and after that we got put in lockdown and nobody could go outside or do **** together. In Italy they had went in lockdown before us and were affected and tried to help us. But many people are stupid and ignorant and ignore what’s happening blaming it on us being sheep and not thinking for ourselves. Of course the white ppl protested lockdown which makes 0 sense but whatever. Recently tho on May 25th, 2020 a George floyd was ******** and by a police officer at that, they tried and still try to blame Floyd dying on himself they will use whatever illogical evidence they have to justify the ****** of him. The ****** had his knee on Floyd’s neck for 9 minutes and he was unresponsive for 2 minutes but the ******* knee never left his neck. People are rightfully mad and are protesting/rioting Everywhere. They started protesting here yesterday and I went. It was the first protest I ever did and I will continue to do it u til we get what we deserve. Until we get justice. More and more people are dying everyday in the protests by police/*********. Police are abusing their authority and acting crazy. There’s too much to say and I don’t know how to say it I just hope this isn’t forgotten and we as black people are treated equally. There are protests all over the world in Nigeria, Syria, Hong Kong (the radicals), Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, etc. its crazy to see the support all over the world and the unity we have as one. We took what we learned from Hong Kong protesters and using their tactics to combat the police over here. In Hong Kong they are fighting their government because they treat people terribly. I’m still learning and trying to grow my knowledge for now. I don’t know what I want to do with my life. I just don’t want to die before I even get to live, will I even make it to my next birthday, will my brother, will my sisters. the fact that I have to think like this is sad the world needs to change. Ima try to write letters everyday now to future me
