A letter from June 1st, 2020

Hi Cali, I'm 17, I just turned 17 a few days ago. You should be 22 when reading this. That's insane! 22! wow. I hope you listen to 22 by Taylor Swift a lot. I'm going through a lot of self-discovery right now. And it's hard. I dont know who i am and how things are going to turn out. Its scary. The endless nights of sobbing and weeping over the simplest things, my parents, boys constantly breaking my heart, breaking my own heart, etc. I hope things are worked out in the future. If you're reading this, wow. You made it. I didn't think i would make it this far. If you are still figuring things out, that's okay too. That's what lifes about. I just want you to know you're doing amazing. You are enough. You are more then enough. I hope you're with someone who loves you endlessly. Do not settle for less. Know your worth. You're worth so much more then someone who puts in little effort. I hope college went well. Im still not sure if i want to go into the national guard. Did you ever quit Moes? finding a job right now is difficult. Right now the BLM and ACAB protests are going on, as well as quarantine. Did everything end up okay? I love you.
