Dear Future Me, there was so many ups and downs of this 8th grade year, like when I got 100% on a hard Math test or when I missed the first two days of the trimester and had four F’s. I have changes so much over the course of this year on the way I do my work and the way I look at it. I definitively take school a lot more serious now knowing that it is what gets me into a good college and a scholarship to play baseball. I have a few friends, but not that many because it can be overwhelming or start drama if your always with a bunch of different friends. You only need a couple friends to get through life. My favorite thing to do is to play baseball and practice. One of my least favorite things is going to the beach because I hate the sand and it is everywhere. I know that I will definitively change over these next 5 years not only becoming a man, but improving my talent and skill at the game of baseball. Over the years my stamina will last longer, I will get stronger, know what to do in every situation, and enjoy the game itself like always. One of my predictions I really want to accomplish is to turn in every high school assignment done and on time Freshman-Senior. A prediction I mostly want to accomplish is to make the Rancho baseball team and be one of the star players/catchers. One piece of advice I would give myself is that anybody can do anything and keep working for it. My experience with quarantine is not really that bad because I don’t really get bored around the house much, and I try to stay as active as possible and go to a park or whatever is open.
