A letter from May 23rd, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hi! I’m writing this as a 21 year old. The date is May 23, 2020. Right now the world is in lock down. Covid-19 has really messed up some stuff. As you’re reading this you should be 26 years old about to turn 27 in July (your golden birthday) if this is received on the same date it is sent. I have a couple questions... Are we married yet? I hope so. I always said I wanted to be married by 26. Did Paige and I stay together? Right now I feel like she’s my person & my soul mate but I don’t know what the future holds. I hope we did. I love her so much. Did you ever get the chance to work for disney? I was supposed to do the college program for Fall Advantage 2020 as you probably remember but Corona messed it up. Are you successful? Do you live on your own? This year Monica kicked me out and it’s affected me so negatively. I’m thankful for Aunt Tara & Uncle Mike because they have given me a place to stay until I make my move to Orlando in August. How was your Orlando experience? Did you like being away from people? Did you like your roommates? If there is one piece of advice I can give you from past me to future you... Please always remember to look back on old photos. Remember good times. Call people you haven’t talked to in a while. Reach out. Also always remember to be kind even if the situation is bad. Sunshine is better than a rainstorm. (you can thank paige for the weather pun I just used... she loves them.
