A letter from May 20th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, how has college been? I imagine working to get into medical school hasn’t been easy, but I’m excited to see where we end up. I’m writing this during sophomore year, I have a boyfriend named River, I enjoy playing volleyball, making bracelets, and I currently want to be a neurosurgeon. My best friends are Makayla, Mckenna, Sam, Carley, and Peyton. Do you still talk to them? If not, you should reach out, you never know what they’re going through. Are you happy now? High school has been hard but Ive had such loving and supportive people to be along side me all the way, I hope I can say the same in 5 years. Where did you end up going to college and deciding to do? Are you dating anybody, if so, for how long? Are you truly feeling good and hopeful about the future? You should because you’re smart, resilient, and perfect the way you are. Hope all is well 5 years from today.
