A letter from May 20th, 2020

May 20, 2020 Hey Mr. Graduate, How do you feel about graduating High School and going on to college? I see, which college are you going to go to? Oh nice! You know University of Texas is a great school because you don’t have to pay out of state tuition! Well, I’m glad that you are going to college and not just going to lay on Mom’s couch. So, what are you going to school for? A VETERINARIAN! I’ve always wanted to be one of those. You have to pay attention in class and do your homework so you can knock out at least your Masters degree and find a job. You can go for your Doctorates later. What’s going to happen after that? You hope to see your family in San Antonio, and start a family? Nice! Well I hope you have a great life from here on out, and don’t forget the struggles you’ve been through to get here. Remember you were 12 going on 13 when COVID-19 hit us. Don’t forget what it was like in quarantine for several months it made you go CRAZY!! Thankfully, we got through it and continued our lives.
