A letter from May 19th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, The year is 2020, and I’ve been asked to write this letter as part of a lesson given by my 9th Grade English teacher, ( im not going to say her name for privacy ) . Freshman year was honestly a blast. Way better than I expected. Although, it ended in a way no one probably expected. I don't know when i’ll read this letter again, I don't even know if i'm going to in the future. Maybe i’ll forget about it. I do have the memory of a fish. But future ahmya, how are you ? Are you still making music ? right now you're just at the brink of starting to create beats and lyrics. Its kinda difficult but I'm still going to put all my effort and energy into it. Hopefully you're doing the same in the future. Should I be using first person or second person ? i don't know. Did you end up going to college ? making music doesn't really require you to go to college.. If you did, how was it ? all the road trips you had in mind with your friends, are you guys still traveling ? me and marissa talk about seeing the world with summer and markoz all the time. I really want to see the northern lights. Have you seen them yet ? are they even more beautiful in person ? I really want to start my own podcast and reality tv show with some friends and family. Hopefully traveling works out and on the podcast, I'm able to talk about all the traveling we did with our friends. And I really want the tc show to be filmed like the office. That would be hilarious. I really don't want anyone to take that idea though so i would have to act really fast. Maybe it can be a netflix original though. I don't know yet. I want to get into modeling too. But a unique type of modeling. Modeling that will make people know that you don't have to match beauty standards. I want to be able to make an impact on the world. You want to do a lot of things Ahmya. That's a lot of determination and hard work. Right now, you've been painting and drawing a lot. I don't think i want to make art a profession but it's definitely a side hobby. I might want to at least attempt to see how much money my art can get me. My mind is really creative. Oh ! Speaking of creativity, we want to make a book and a movie ! i already have a lot of movie ideas. Once I learn how to write like Stephen King, I'll write the books first and then make the movies. Maybe. But i'm definitely going to be producing books and movies as well. They're going to be amazing. My life is going to be really busy. I hope I have enough time and money to do all of this. I don't even know what i should start with first. Most likely music and modeling. Well hey.. My word count is up. But i'm going to ask my aunt can i print this out cause i really want to save this and read it in a few years. Maybe five ? maybe seven or ten ? i don't know. I actually just read the bottom of the writing box and I can email it to myself. Im going to do that and print it aswell i guess. But goodbye ahmya and i bet you're crying while reading this.. We both know how sensitive and emotional we are. Hustle hard and don't stop til the casket drop.
